NLM Global
Norwegian Lutheran Misjonssambands vision is the World for Christ and the purposeis to spread the kingdom of God so that new groups of people will hear the gospel,the mission is to send out people with a calling from God in service to Him.
NLMGeneral Assemblyin 2009adopted theNLMMission andstrategyto the year 2020.This is a guideline for our mission:
- NLM wants to contribute to the building of Christian communities and churches that have a solid foundation in God's word and a strong commitment to the local context.
- NLM wants to prioritize peoplegroups where there still are no Christian congregation or where the Christians are few.
- NLM will continue to send missionaries to partner churches, with a focus on education, leadership development, administration and development. The diaconal work is an integral part of the mission assignment.
- NLM supports development projects that can give people a better livelihood and opportunities to create a better future. We want to contribute to a world of peace, justice and hope.
